Culture needs getting used to. "Blood and sweat," and "crawling on broken glass" are oft-used expressions to describe what it is to work at Jabil in the constant obsession to do whatever the customer wants.

Too political, promotion is based on favoratism and not on performance. Management does not take employees review seriously. Management rarely sat down with employees to discuss about the personal goal, long term career path and yearly targets to achieve. Middle management lack of leadership, and encourage mediocre management skills and promote the wrong people for the right position. There are more managers than any other company I have seen in my long career life. There are more managers than engineers per say where too many captains are trying to drive a ship with too little crew members. Top management are too busy to review the work of middle management.
