      Work/life, influence in conversations with customers & development process

      Cons

      sometimes the development process doesn't seem to move in a direction of actual results for top performers. Cross-functional rotation is becoming more & more difficult as the company tightens its belt with the economy. Lately, it seems that they have been focused much more significantly on their stockholders vs. the people. While the economy is a very challenging time the climate seems to be much more grave internally than necessary. Hopefully, J&J will loosen the reigns a bit as the economy recovers.

      Pros

      It's a pretty good place to work. Not too stressful. Most of the managers treated you with respect. Decent benefits. Seemed willing to help you get extra training, there was some tuition reimbursement. They company worked very hard to not lay people off. When people's positions were being eliminated they did their best to find them work someplace else in the company.

      Cons

      Alot of the workers are brought in as temps. I guess, as in most places nowadays, if you are brought in as a temp, you will always be a temp. They very rarely brought anybody on board that started out as a temp.
