Low salary, boring projects (spoon-feeding clients the same thing over and over), an environment that promotes sucking up to bosses, and erasure of individual creativity. Younger employees are expected to guess the managers' preferences and produce work perfectly in-line with their vision, up to an unreasonable level of detail, and the only way to be viewed as human (as opposed to a faceless machine) is to rise to managerial positions.
