Pros

The pension is decent if you can still get it, Kaiser is removing it from some regions and positions. Similar PTO to other healthcare system, about 25 days per year, lots of self development training software available if you have the time.

Cons

By far the worst managers I've ever worked with in a healthcare setting. Inefficient processes, siloed roles that leave employees with limited marketable skills. In the IT area it's a mix of insecure micro managers and employees who started in high school and never worked anywhere else. It's impossible to fire anyone so they just stay and make the system worse.
