Don't let the pay fool you...No one is Thriving here!
Pros
Benefits (health insurance w/ KP). That is all.
Cons
Everything else. You are just a number. The training was terrible and chaotic. You are instructed on the bare minimum. Essentially, how to navigate the system and answer calls but not in actual scenarios or how to provide accurate information. At every level of interaction with KP there is delay of care it seems. We are not trained to give accurate information. We are trained just for the sole purpose of answering calls. It's really sad. Time off doesn't exist unless you call out sick. Any time requested off whether months in advance or days before takes up until the day before to be approved, if its approved or its immediately denied and you're forced to resubmit it over and over getting pushed to the back of the line each time. You cannot apply to transfer to any other position within KP until you've worked in the position 18months thanks to the union contract. And the union as well is 0 help as well. The workplace conditions are subpar. Uncleanly is an understatement.
