      Pros

      Kiewit is full of smart, hard working people who are eager to answer questions. Managment is trying to improve operations.

      Cons

      The company is experinecing some growing pains and a bit of an identity crisis. With a bit of effort, the challenges will be met.

      Pros

      Kiewit looks great on your resume and the name is well-known in the construction industry, they have great health benefits and 401(K) plan with up to 6% matching, lots of training available. District meeting at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando this year? Amazing.

      Cons

      This is definitely a good old boy company where being a young woman there can be very difficult (I know because I am one). My opinion seems like it doesn't matter. Work life balance? What is that? You get paid for 40 hours, but always work at least 50-60 hours a week. You get looks if you walk into the office after 7:15 am and even more looks if you leave by 5 pm. Even if you have no work to do, you have to stay there just because. I moved to the middle of no where for this job and am regretting it now. As an engineer, you feel replaceable I'm also making about 10K less than the people I graduated with. I'm looking for opportunities elsewhere.
