Experience with multiple different systems and great customers. The company services several domestic and foreign companies. The culture represents respect from all employees.

Cons

Company is down sizing and considering outsourcing much of its work. The company focus has gone largely to meet the bottom dollar.

Thank you for your feedback! We agree, we work with great customers and we also appreciate your comment on a respectful work environment, that is something we are very proud of. An environment where everyone challenges the status quo and innovates, but does it in a respectful manner. The vision at Koch has remained consistent, to create value for society and to do so utilizing resources most efficiently. We apply our MBM business philosophy to innovate, improve, and transform ourselves to create greater value for our customers and greater fulfillment for employees. As our Chairman & CEO recently stated, with the rapidly changing nature of business through technology advancement, “virtually everyone’s role will change.” As a part of this change we have to ensure employees fully embrace emerging technology and practice all of our guiding principles, especially change, principled entrepreneurship, and value creation.

Pros

The work is challenging and time sensitive. A fast paced environment is encouraged. Roles are clearly defined. They are somewhat flexible on work hours.

Cons

Low tolerance for errors. They seem to prefer to let people go rather than allow them to learn and grow. Consequently, they is a high turnover rate. Many of my colleagues are afraid that any day may be their last, so they are looking for other opportunities. There is a segregation between departments regarding exchanger of information, meaning that other departments should not know about the inner workings of another department. This has been getting better, but still has a long way to go. It doesn't seem to matter if you are good, just keep the bosses happy.

Pros

Good Advancement opportunities.. Ability to move around and explore different accounting positions

Cons

Horrible work home life balance... I was working 80 hours a week for 6 months straight.. I also had a baby a toddler and a little one at home. When I brought up the situation to my boss I was told "to move up in the world you have to make sacrifices" I left after that.. I'm not willing to sacrifice my family... The work atmosphere is like high school.. there is a lot of clicks and office gossip.. not a very friendly professional atmosphere.
