Pros

The work provides an opportunity for diverse experiences with a different challenge to be responded to on a daily basis.

Cons

Koch Industries is a large organization with many sectors, each sector having multiple business units. In my experience and observations, the Koch Company culture that is written about in the books authored by the company president and bragged about during the recruitment phase doesn't seem to exist at Koch Heat Transfer.

Pros

Friendly people. Great place to cut your teeth and learn the business.

Cons

Compensation is no where near the industry average although they will tell you it is but not show their research or tell you where they got their info. In the more than 10 years I worked for the company I had 12 different supervisors and only received 5 pay raises. The Northern operating group is based in Minnesota. That being said the cost of living and state taxes take the majority of your pay and the company does not believe in cost of living allowances. Management cannot be trusted because they are only worried about their own future and the good supervisors are rare or do not last long in a supervisor position. MBM and the "BUZZ" words around it are used as leverage points but not truly followed by the employees or management that use them.

Pros

They appear on the outside to be a solid reputable corporation. Great website, great benefits, great training opportunities, great chance for promotion.

Cons

Once you are hired all that is a lie, all the management has recently been let go after a reorganization, managers of 20+ years are laid-off without any ????? No loyalty here when you are on the chopping block you are OUT. There is no training, you become a monkey, if you speak up you are gone in a matter of months. There no retaliation is a joke.
