Pros

Hybrid work-from-home model though I was hired on being told we were one day in office per week and within a month the company changed to 2/week and then said we had to provide our monitors and equipment in order to work from home which was annoying. Decent pay, decent benefits, newer office space

Cons

The company is "newer" under Koch Industries and just isn't well organized or set up, at least in the finance department. I came from a much larger competitor in the area and wished I hadn't left within the first month. Training isn't done in standardized way so even after 8 months there was so much that I wasn't taught about the role or the company or policies in general and you're just kind of left to "figure it out" on your own. Communication within the department isn't great and turnover is high-I was there 8 months and had 3 different leaders. Some people in the company are just plain rude and will definitely speak down to you and then when you tell someone in leadership about it it's used against you in the future. Systems are very outdated and they just don't have what you need to accurately get work done without several pain-points, despite having their own "tech" division. Needless to say, I was applying to other jobs within 3 months of starting this one in hopes of finding something better...they tout having this "principle based management" philosophy but I couldn't even tell you what it meant as none of my leadership or HR ever really explained it. I wouldn't recommend the company, or at least the department, to friends.

Pros

Big and well established company

Cons

1. Nepotism is rampant ( or at least was rampant in the team I was with). 2. Their "principles" are just for show - the management in my team followed them when it suited them, 3. Too much office politics raises stress and makes it a toxic workplace.

Pros

No work Lots of outings Multiple useless project involvement Many manager to micro manage games random jobs

Cons

would give work which is not relevant for developers they would randomly assign task and wish to deliver when that is something which no one knows non technical manager who believes every job can be done in a hour hire and fire strategy force employees to wear shirts and blazer to office even if its burning outside firing happens if the manager wont find you attractive no actual work, they are just playing within themselves and wasting time of people
