Pros

*safe campus * free parking *campus amenities

Cons

*senior KBS leadership rewards those in the inner circle; those actually performing the work, contributing and putting in the hours are not * KBS leadership continues to promote favorites and friends, supporting poor leaders who are friends of the decision makers and punishing those that challenge decisions *base pay is mediocre with better options at other companies for talented performers

Thank you for all of your hard work and for taking the time to leave us a review. I am concerned to read of the atmosphere you described as this is not what we believe or support in our MBM culture. We believe in providing a culture that is open to innovation, supportive of growth and learning and base decisions off of performance and not favoritism. Please know that I am sharing your review with the appropriate leadership team as immediate feedback. I would encourage you to speak to your manager or local HR contact as well to discuss your concerns. Thank you again for sharing- Molly from Talent Solutions

Honest experience of 6 years of working in koch India

Pros

1. The parent branch of koch business service-usa is an ideal place to work, i have worked in 5-6 IT companies but i can tell you the work culture & policies that they are promoting is the best in the world. I would even challenge that the best places to work in the whole world wont have these kind of workculture related policies. 2. No micro-monitoring, you are given freedom to work & what matters is your deliverables and nothing else. 3. Very easy to reach to the higher management as its a flat hierarchy from your juniors, to your supermanagers to the top boss , easy to get recognised by the higher management if you have good performance. 4. Salary good compared to market standards. Annual increment one of the best in the industry. 5. Work pressure depends on the project you work. 6. Easy to get transferred from one project to another , for low experience employees there is option to even change your domain if you want

Cons

1. Although kbs us policies towards work place & work ethics that they are trying to propagate are very good but on the ground in India what their counterpart Indian management is doing they are least bothered with that & i think due to this pure frustration they have given up on India unit and now they are trying to explore their maxico & other units more. 2. The India kbs higher management has deteriorated over the years like a lot. Most of the higher management being hired over the past years are from India service/consultancy based company & they bring with themselves lots of politics & profit greedy ness(considering profit for kbs india on the expense of the business) 3. Various businesses subsidise i know are totally frustrated with kbs india & are either moving out of kbs to service based company or planning to move to other kbs location out of india. 4. Initially when this started 5-6 years back the india management was top notch & due to which they were able to attract & retain highly skilled & talented resources. Once the higher management were replaced by ex-managers from service based companies the whole office scenario started changing. Almost all of the employees who joined 5-6 years back you wont see anyone now, all new faces because of the degrading work culture. 5. The india higher management is not ready to change even if it costs them resources, project etc(they will start pointing out to employees to shift blame game but wont change themselves) nothing will change them & if any employee decides to stepup & raise their voice against this to the business & tell then what’s going on, they threaten him on the background arm twisting him to keep quite. -so much for mbm, pbm . Infact these guys are like school moral science teacher they only preach mbm, pbm else kbs global will come down heavily on them but they never implement the same in their own work culture. 6. Lots & lots of politics are creeping in from last 3-4 years which are forcing people to exit 7. ONE OF THE WORST EVER HR POLICIES YOU WILL EVER FIND IN THIS EARTH WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY-no employees benefits as compared to other product & service based companies

Stay Away from Koch Recruiting

Pros

Private company, stable, lots of technology resources (yet management doesn’t make strategic decisions on what should be implemented to actually HELP the recruiters), big name to recruit for.

Cons

The leveraged capability doesn’t work. The people they have in place at the senior management level on this team don’t embody Koch’s Principled Based Management philosophy. The leadership has been a struggle since September 2021 (take a look at the older reviews on here that mention Talent Solutions…) and Koch Recruiting has been pushing out top talent ever since (unless you sit in Wichita, of course). Any one who has more experience, or is a more strategic recruiter/leader is pushed out so incompetent white women in Wichita can lead the charge. Everything on paper about Koch is great—but Koch Recruiting isn’t aligned to these values. There’s a lack of diversity on this team, and pay close attention to the lack of information Koch shares about valuing diversity/inclusion. Also, take a look at who’s leading this team—most of them haven’t recruited a day in their lives. How can recruiters be set up for success if those who are steering the ship have no idea what recruiters need to do their job successfully? There was a large layoff Spring 2023 and leadership referred to it as “creative destruction” and talked endlessly how “excited” they were for these changes. Heartless.
