The comp is fairly robust. Parking is free. They bring in fresh fruit and treats quite often.

Cons

Technically competent people whose strengths aren't necessarily in communication or leadership are in the leadership roles; the politics are difficult to navigate; there are different sets of rules for different employees; no room to grow locally.

Pros

During the pandemic no employee was laid off . All employees from CEO to janitor took the same unpaid furlough. Komatsu treats employees very well. The mining equipment industry is very stable and growing despite global uncertainty.

Cons

Complacency and a lack of urgency. High performance is not rewarded like it should be. Low performance is tolerated.
