      Pros

      Komatsu produce good machinery, and have a strong global reputation for product quality. Reasonably good salaries in Australia overall

      Cons

      As the company grew over the years, the sense of family (understandably but sadly diminished) and it felt like everyone was becoming a number, I realise this is somewhat inevitable, but corporate loyalty to good staff become compromised.

      6 figure income mandatory 6 day 12 hour work weeks constant they supply everything to a limit fresh air hoods, suitcase welders issued.

      Cons

      Racist favoritism, don't file a grievance against a tiktok lead cause you could be the hardest worker in the shop but they will back door you for telling the truth about the lack of work these so called leads do. Lack of QC and no weld parameters at all and I'm surprised Freeport hasn't came in there and pulled all there components out for improper weld procedure, zero welder parameters weld what your comfortable amperage and no welder audits whatsoever. Quality is gonna get that place shut down with the lack of quality procedures being followed never preheating 2 inch or above material is very wrong.
