Pros

your immediate supervisor is a pharmacist ; management not heavily involved with pharmacy

Cons

understaffing ..i used to have pride in being a Kroger pharmacist, but it is no different than CVS or Walgreens...metrics, timing how long each task takes to complete, etc

Pros

10% discount on kroger products

Cons

no taste testing, can't recommend products to the customer if you dont know how the baked goods taste. No drinks, tons of work done in a freezer that is very easy to be locked in and forgotten about. Poor organization, schedules for too many hours (40+ hours when you were hired part time for a max of 20), no lunch. You have to schedule a lunch even if you are working an 8, 9, or 10 hour shift. They want you to eat during one of your two 15 minute breaks that half the time you don't even get. Lack of training, no food safety training prior to be out on the floor, misleading description of job duties.
