-While technical knowledge is great, the senior management lacks business background and education. So there is a lack of vision, strategic planning or communication. Once consultant was hired to develop strategic plan and all we saw was a couple of slides followed by crickets...
-Some of the senior/executive management has some serious psychological problems and egos to fill out a large room. Some of the management came over from Brooks Automation, need I say more?
-Management is micromanaging and has lack of trust towards employees (some departments are better than others)
-HR cant get employees to complete surveys, because employees are afraid of retaliation if they ever said anything critical.
-Most of the product volume is manufactured in Mexico - that means double management structures and ever present turf wars. Labor content is low so I am not sure how that makes financial sense.
-"Not invented here" syndrome is strong with this one...
