Pros

Senior Management in Mumbai office excellent, and strive to turn the office into a great place of excellence. The team strives hard to improve its standing among the global offices and has tremendous talent, and will soon become the most important of all Global MSCI Offices. Good work life balance and pushing somebody for output is not encouraged. However, depending on manager, senior managements policies might not exactly trickle down

Cons

Still more scope for center to gain critical projects and move up the value chain. Bonus pool shrinking every year

Pros

Excellent place to start your career; state-of-the-art technology, better than average in terms of professional approach. Self-starters would love this place who know what they want to get from a position.

Cons

Too much movement went on in the previous periods, you probably have to go after projects. Communication is not satisfying paired with some past errors committed by senior management.

Pros

The employees in many of the departments are good people and are a joy to work with, but this excludes nearly all management.

Cons

Senior Management tells HR to tell any employee that is concerned about their low salary that it will ensure that they are brought up to market rate at the end of the year, but refuse to discuss at anytime market rate figures or ranges. At the end of the year, they don't increase salaries (nearly across the board) by much. Most of the jobs in several departments are being shipped overseas despite a lack of qualified applicants in those regions. End of year reviews are useless because if your manager decides you performed well, but senior management doesn't want to give you a bonus that reflects that performance, they just tell your manager to change your performance score (this really happened and was discussed with several employees during their performance reviews by the managers forced to change the scores).
