Pros

-Classroom training with good pacing and not rushed -Assessments are made in the form of "exams" to ensure the hires are aware of their capabilities and weaknessess -Interesting topics to be learned in regards to helping investors make informed and sound business decisions during the stockholders meeting. What was learned could also be applicable to the hire especially if he/she is an active investor. -Great facilitators/mentors

Cons

-Facilities are not that great. Just a kitchen and a lounge with seating area and nothing much -Environment lacks "prestige" and imo too relaxed (eg dresscode - people are just wearing jeans and hoodies) -Low salary and benefits

Pros

It's a large US corporate with that culture, so maybe it's good experience of working in a transactional environment.

Cons

US corporate culture from the 1990s and not quite as progressive or supportive as it likes to claim.
