Pros

Great company to work in. There is a great working environment.

Cons

Different business units don't seem to be integrated. Each section works by its own account, and there is little communication between departments.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback. With 36 offices in over 25 countries, we find that having a flexible work environment makes a positive difference for our colleagues (glad you agree). We appreciate the comments on our benefits-- to help enhance our offering, MSCI participates in benchmarking surveys so that we can design a comprehensive package that meets employees’ needs. We’re sorry that you have a negative perception of management. With this in mind, for the past 2 years, we have focused our annual engagement survey to better understand what areas and behaviors require greater effort from our managers in creating an energizing and high performance work environment. The feedback from the survey is shared directly with the manager so they can target their energy on the actions that will make the biggest difference for their teams. As part of our cultural journey, we have also implemented Success@MSCI – a program dedicated to improving the employee experience by focusing on your performance, career development and learning. Those new to management, can sign up for our First Time Manager Program to help develop a baseline managerial skill set that will support employees as they grow and develop with the firm. We also provide opportunities for mentorship through local events, such as Connect NY where each employee is matched with a senior leader to begin the connection. These programs help us to increase manager capability and create a work environment that will empower employees and allow them to contribute their best work and grow their career. For additional questions or comments, please contact your local HR Generalist.
