      Pros

      This is a very reputed firm and for good reasons. Compensation is among the best. Most people are very smart.

      Cons

      Banking type environment. My manager wasn't the greatest people manager. He was great for himself; but like a Eucalyptus tree, he grew tall while nothing under him could grow. He was bold and loud but every one under him became meek/timid/watch-your-back.

      Only good thing about it is once upon a time it was part of a good company Morgan Stanley Now all the good people have left and comapny is left with mediocre people where the manager believes there main part is playing politics

      Cons

      Yeah and the mumbai HR team is a bunch of pathetic ,very arrogant ,useless team. They are now just breaking on all the good code that was written by good employees of morgan stanley who have now left the company , i have also seen pople being fired at will with no respect of the employee. Zero Job security

      Decent pay. Flat organization. Nice NY office space.

      Cons

      Very little company culture. Seems to seek the cheapest labor and makes for global teams that are difficult to manage and work with.
