Bright people, good benefits, reasonable work life balance, good location and offices, global company. Doesn't suffer fools.

Cons

Becoming very bureaucratic, very centralised decision making. Lives on email Career progression is slow and hard to achieve. Training budget is virtually non-existent in many areas

Good culture and work environment. Flexible work timings with work from home option. Provides options for mentoring, skill development, along with various other workshops.

Cons

Lack of transparency provided by the Management. Job-security is a concern. Attrition in certain teams is quite high. No clear career growth plans are provided.

Pros

Strong products, a good and well-known name makes it easier being a salesperson, good benefits package (but no work from home).

Cons

Top-down management style, no interest at all to listen to ideas or input from employees, decisions are made at the top and then filtered down to the foot soldiers. Culture is very old-fashioned, face time is very important and seen as a proxy for how effective you are in your job. Come in early and leave late is the rule. Intensely political environment, very similar culture to a global investment bank but with worse quality people. As a salesperson your compensation has very low correlation with your sales or how well you do your sales target, political skills and appearance is everything.
