Pros

Great benefit and fun people to work with. Not a lot of room to grow though. The product is going down hill because of poor software development life cycle.

Cons

The new management is too top heavy and they have been doing a lot of reorganization and have been laying off talented people. When it was still Riskmetrics, the management cared about the employee, things changed. To MSCI, you are just a number in the balance sheet.

Pros

Some very smart research and knowledgable consultants to work with. Very flexible working schedule and easy access to top level management.

Cons

Very little growth opportunities, management very top heavy and hired from external only. Aggressive offshoring to emerging market cost cutting strategies with no evaluation in its effectiveness.
