Pros

- Nice, modern office (in a good location) with good snacks and drinks. - Some very lovely colleagues (analyst to senior associate level). - More diversity at junior level compared to other companies in the financial sector. - Good base salary if you’re an experienced hire.

Cons

- Middle and upper management have little to no regard for wellbeing, mental health or physical health conditions (wellbeing is not well understood, including within HR, who were not sure themselves about what wellbeing support the company offered). Management is willing to accommodate and be flexible with office attendance if you have children (which is great) but if you are struggling with your wellbeing/recently bereaved, this flexibility and accommodation regarding office attendance or support when returning to work is not provided (and unfortunately this was experienced by more than 1 colleague). - No clear expectations for your role at each grade (making it hard to understand how your performance is being measured or what you need to achieve to be considered for a promotion). - Consultant roles are essentially the equivalent of being an account manager, which didn’t meet my expectations of what I thought the role would be (from how the role was explained to me during the application process). - Bonus is much lower than other companies in the financial sector (really negotiate a good base salary if possible). - Very little diversity at senior level. - A very hierarchical structure (this may be preferable for some but I prefer organisations that have a more flat hierarchical structure). - An arduous promotion process (needing to be nominated by several colleagues before you can even be considered for a promotion - and colleagues missing out on promotions due to managers not completing their part of the nomination process effectively). - Base salary is not so great at junior levels if you join at entry level or via the internship.

Pros

Hybrid schedule, above market salary in most cases, slightly above market benefits, overall culture is conducive for medium-long term career (5-10 years).

Cons

The pace here is fast, and sometimes there are tight deadlines depending on your division. It also takes a while to fully get settled into any given role due to somewhat loosely assembled processes and methodologies, but overall it's manageable as long as you have the right people around you. There are also instances when employees with long tenures (10+ years) get laid off.

Pros

Job was remote so was definitely nice to have the Option to go in. They definitely try to make you feel welcomed as the kitchen is stacked with food and treats. Good company culture .

Cons

There seems to be a lot VPs with no idea what direction to go to. Also, they like to lay people off if they acquire a company to save money. Also salary is a little above average but not great.
