      Magna Electronics provides a solid environment for technical professionals to grow, particularly in automation, controls, and data systems. During my time as a Controls Engineering Technician, I had opportunities to work on MES/SCADA system development, SQL database optimization, and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps and Git. The hands-on experience with data integration and system troubleshooting helped me develop a strong foundation in data engineering principles. The company culture encourages collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork with engineering, IT, and production teams was a major part of daily operations. Management was supportive of process improvements and welcomed innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency. While manufacturing can sometimes be fast-paced, the structure and resources available allowed for continued learning and professional development. Magna is a great place for those looking to gain technical expertise in industrial automation and data-driven solutions.
