The company appears to be headed in the right direction with new management, and there are a lot of opportunities for growth. Positive working environment and there is a lot of support from managers. A lot of different options as far as departments go, can get involved in many different industries. Compensation is decent for the amount of hours worked, and there is a positive work/life balance. Excellent growth potential for younger workers getting into the industry. Overall, a good place to work and would recommend to others looking to get into the insurance industry . . . . .

Pays fairly well for similar jobs. Good benefits package, casual work environment.

Cons

Technology updates have been terrible. Old computers, printers, software, etc. Conference calls with others from different parts of world/country are common, so time differences can be an issue. Feels like a very selfish corporate environment, all about bottom line. Wish we were able to feel like we were helping others rather than just working for another percent of commission.

Great People! Love the people I work with on a daily basis. They make working at Marsh enjoyable! The company is a great place to work and to be. I really dont have general complaints about working for Marsh. I work with very easy going and understanding people and I couldnt ask for a better group!

Cons

Lack of Promotions, bonuses, and salary increases. That is the only problem at Marsh that there is never ever any money.
