Pros

The best reason to work at McDonald's is the other employees. They are all around your age, so you get along really well most of them (always some bad ones). The second best reason to work at McDonalds would probably be the casual nature of the job, which when you are a student - is really good. The work is also pretty easy, though monotonous.

Cons

By far, the biggest downside about working at McDonald's would be dealing with the customers. The vast majority of customers are alright, but occasionally you get some really hard ones, though thats more indicative of the clientele McDonald's serves.

Pros

I really enjoy working there because there is a good hierarchy there with the managers and directors and crew. The managers are splendid. They consider us as humans not as slav es or animals. Most of the time they are considerate when it comes to days off when it is something important and neccesary. They also look at the potential of you as a worker and an asset to the McDonald's Corp. as a whole they are an awesome group to work with not as just co-workers but as a people, humans, friends. They really interest themselves as people: our problems, our needs, and even when possible our wants.

Cons

Sometimes I believe they could do better in the way they manage. There could be a little more communication from the managers to the crew trainer's to the crew. We should be a little more united.

Pros

I'm treated as a valuable asset to the organization. I feel like I have great job security. McDonald's offers an outstanding training program, and the Management Development program offers college credits for courses that make your job easier. Free food during your shift along with discounted food for you and a friend when you are not working is a valuable benefit. Their health insurance coverage offers free annual physicals, along with money back for getting the annual physical...so that's better than free. They are open many hours which offers them the opportunity to be very flexible when scheduling. This flexibility makes for quality family time, while working full time.

Cons

Some customers treat you very rudely.
