Pros
great benefits, but keep in mind other companies also offer great benefits large name brand on resume few but some great leaders
Cons
If you are a person of color, I will save you the time. Your time and effort in your job search will be better spent elsewhere. In the sales organization (other groups report better experiences) people are treated well according to their race - mini me syndrome is rampant from leadership. The BIPOC allys who were great leaders have left or plan to leave. During my time, I experienced a lot of willful ignorance and insulting false promises towards BIPOC people, with Black people being treated the worst - inappropriately toxic. Since the company isn't doing well in many areas, they are trying to hold themselves to DEI hiring goals without doing the work to do better. Many turn a blind eye to the issues yet talk about it in private rooms. Some people having misguided conversations about DEI having never had to think about it in their lives prior to BLM 2020. When I resigned, multiple people reached out to me asking me to take them with me, telling me openly they were out the door as well as soon as more money came along. Do not be fooled by the lip service. Go where you will grow, be promoted and acknowledged in all of your amazing talent. Too many horror stories to name here but many articles out there about the Black experience , as well as others, that I now know to be true. Do not be fooled, it is a rare occasion that working in the Meta sales org will mean career growth if you're Black or Brown - eventually you will find yourself on the hunt again. I could go on and on.
