Base salary compared with other local companies

Plant Staff is extremely disconnected from what is actually going on in the facility and what it takes to make the necessary changes to achieve targets. There is conversation of support and team work, but staff never contributes to actually helping solve any problems, just creates additional work for others. The tools and resources needed to perform job functions are not there. The HR department is worthless and gives zero support to enforcing company policies. Blatant harassment happens, is reported, documented, and HR does not enforce harassment policy and allows hostile work environments to exist. There are many people in leadership positions that are not qualified for that position nor do they actually support the people under them

Working with union employees is like trying to generate electricity with a bicycle . Zero accountability and zero pride in workmanship.

- For software engineering it's a bit hard since it's a company more focused in automotive industry, so it tries to manage everything in that industry process standard that does not work for software processes. Their argument is that it's an automotive company, not a software company.
