Pros

Fun workspace, the perks are really nice (gym at the office, subsidies food, haircuts at work), really really nice office.

Cons

As so many says here, middle management is bad. It's not necessarily the people, just that backstabbing, fiddling with numbers, and brown nosing is rewarded far higher than real results. Also, the job feels pointless a lot of times as competence and customer satisfaction is much less important than internal admin and branding. Really really hard to move internally outside of Dublin. If you start here, you'll be stuck here until you switch company...

Pros

Microsoft is a top name to have on your CV

Cons

The Inside Sales organization is a mess The Middle East and Africa (MEA) team is the biggest manifestation of that. The amount of bullying and nepotism in that team is astounding The assessment of seller's performance esp in the STU (Sales technical Unit) is positively subjective. There are cliques esp in the MEA team and certain people and nationalities have maneuvered themselves into lobbying and favored positions at the unfair expense of others. There's hardly anything technical about being in the STU SSP or TSP.
