Pros

Some of the partners are very friendly, the offices in London are beautiful.

Cons

Team leaders and managers are on a high horse, there are a lot of cliques that you will find hard to integrate with - not everybody is friendly and it makes for a difficult working environment. Depending on what floor/department you're with, you will notice that everyone sticks to themselves (eg: PA's only talk to other PA's, associates with associates etc) there are not many opportunities to integrate and "team building" days are not inclusive for PA's or support staff.

Very hierarchical, toxic culture - not so hybrid working as advertised. Senior members of the department not supportive and cliquey. No room for progression even if you work hard- only promotions for people they are friends with.

Forward thinking on paper, ok for fee earners but not support staff.

Cons

Lots of micro management, no trust in employees abilities. Do as I say don't do as I do. Small business mentality.
