Pros

Nice, intelligent, interesting people who are committed to doing their very best and what is right for the clients. The client is everything at MS and the employees work very hard and are committed to the company's mission statement and its long term success.

Cons

For a company that wants to do all the right things for the client, they get a grade of F for employee development and training. I am sure they see it differently but my experience in this area was bad. All I need to say is good luck if you get a job there. I hope your experience turns out to be totally different than mine. ALL of the people I met, in the same position as mine, completely agreed that the training received is very poor. Management knows it, but just talks about it and nothing changes, Good company, great people, but after being hired, you are on your own.

Pros

1. On time salary 2. Subsidized food (not tasty though) 3. Free cab 4. Paternity leave of 4 months for male employees

Cons

Here comes the elephant based on my experience in 'SETTLEMENTS' project. 1. Highly egoistic people in projects including EDs, VPs, PM. And their ego war will cost your peace of mind. 2. You will have to work on lot of legacy model and you don't get much help. So have to sail on your own. 3. Old tech stack and adoption of new tech at the pace of snail. 4. No clear requirements, finalization takes eternity and you have to keep changing till you breathe. 5. Designing a solution is also nightmare. 6. No care about process, for so called Tech ED processes are for loosers. 7. They have a mess and they are proud about it. 8. The final call is taken by leadership in US/UK. 9. They have a high attrition because of all the above reasons. 10. Many people left after seeing no changes that will bring some respite to their work. 11. Terrible hike and God know when you will be kicked out of the firm. 12. Extreme partiality between FTE and FTC as minimum as open appreciations.
