      Great Company -- if you liked the former Soviet Union

      Pros

      Excellent opportunities for those who enjoy the status quo and love hierarchy. If you enjoy delegating to outsourcing companies this is the right place for you!

      Cons

      1) IT management that knows little about IT 2) Technical expertise is rarely recognized or rewarded. 3) Anemic pay raises and bonuses 4) Cronyism and nepotism 5) MS technology that places layers on top of develop that are difficult to understand. 6) QA teams run by clueless management, many of whom never wrote a test case in their loves. Only the bottom layer of the pyramid actually does any real work.

      Pros

      1. Responsibility given on day one. 2. A lot of mobility across divisions within the back office - both geographically and functionally. 3. No hierarchy in the company. You can speak your thoughts any time.

      Cons

      1. Personal development totally depends on the team you're in and who your manager is. Sometimes management are not very supportive and interested in your personal development. 2. Very rigid in academic performance for Graduate students. Cannot get a return offer if you missed a 2:1. 3. Training is quite poor.
