Pros

Let me explain Strong work culture in Morgan Stanly meaning: Company is great, world trust the company but internal operation is hell. - Policed people using butter - They don't take lunch break, eat food at the desk - They recruit QA people and ask for development work - They don't talk to each other in office primacies - They just do only and only work and delivery - No Humanity in critical situation, work should be done any way - Within 2 months of joining - Headache, sleeplessness, eye pain, back pain, stress, anxiety different other diseases will come. - No job security, they will replace you anytime. - Give you high pressure to make the work done. - Very OLD management style. higherercy driven. - No friendly environment. They don't talk with other colleague, they just ping in skype/team.

Cons

- They make you work and work until you go to hospital. - They judge you best on last 1 hour what you have done. - They respect you by saying " you are irritating me". - They will assign you un ethical work and pressure you to complete and tell you that you are non-performer. - No work life balance at all. only big big mails. - You will not feel respectful here.

Pros

I have been associated with the fir for past 7+ years and taking the opportunity to share some information for the aspiring candidates. Good Pay Structure 1). Unlimited Sick Leaves (You need to Show Medical Certificate for More than 2 Days) 2). 4 Weeks Parental Care Leave (If Parents are Hospitalised) 3). 5 Days Bereavement Leave (In Case of Death of 1st family Member) 4). 21 Paid Leaves (Cannot be Carried Forward or Paid Out)

Cons

Below are some cons. 1). Continuously changing leadership (I have worked with 9 managers in past 7 years but still in the same project). 2). No clarity on project and task in hand. In some cases after completing 50% of project you will be asked to change the approach/ framework just because you have hit a road block. 3). Poor work life balance. As the requirement and ask keeps on changing you would be required to work late nights and weekend to achieve the targets. 4). Poor culture, no respect at work. They follow onshore offshore delivery model and the Indian managers sitting in US treat people very badly if you are unable to achieve the targets. They will start working at 11:00 AM EST and expect you to join mid night calls. 5). Very high attrition rates most of the employees tend to leave the organisation in 1-2 years looking at pressure. 6). Use your personal computer for working from home even during COVID times. 7). Recent mergers and acquisition has led in too many resignation in the in leadership team.

Pros

If you don't have a soul and are ok with working in a call center then you get OT pay.

Cons

E*TRADE rushed to hire a bunch of people to make Morgan Stanley happy. Their big screw up is they are higher people with no qualifications and basically hire anyone with a pulse. The customers are noticing and the quality of work is taking a nose dive. E*TRADE is now shoving sales down every employees throat. I'd compare E*TRADE to Wells Fargo prior to their scandal. Who cares about actually have knowledge and knowing what you're doing when you can shove a referral in there. 9/10 employees have absolutely no idea what they're doing and don't care. Their horrible work is left to the employees who have actually worked their for an extended period of time. Every aspect of this business is run poorly. OPS, TOA, New Hires, Management. I could go on. If you wish to actually grow and feel educated and well versed in the brokerage industry, go elsewhere. Also, don't have your stock plan team manage stock plan accounts for companies who care about their employees. No RSU and when they had an ESPP their stale stock had a discount of 5 % which is pathetically bad. I hope I saved someone a waste of time in their life they can't get back.
