Pros

They provide a phone and a desk, that’s about it.

Cons

70% failure rate for a reason. Place is a revolving door on all levels. Rewards people churning their own accounts or family member’s accounts for revenue. Doesn’t value real relationships - model is based on revenue not AUM. Myopic, not big picture. Hypocrisy across the board. 3 pillars of culture - do the right thing, build relationships, give back - all a bunch of corporate rhetoric - they didn’t do the right thing by me, my family or my clients, and if your revenue doesn’t meet expectations they certainly don’t care about yourrelationships. One of the worst experiences ever. Stock is at $39 for a reason !

Pros

- Hire at good package. - Office is nice - Global exposure

Cons

- Technically very good in certain teams while equally bad in others. So, it is very team dependent thing. - Culture is again team dependent. For some it is average while for some they have "Yes Sir" culture. - Implementing any new idea is difficult(not impossible though).

Pros

- Competitive salary - Great people - Interesting projects to work on

Cons

- Crippling bureaucracy - Office politics - Upper management with short term vision only - Completely wasted talents on time consuming but ultimately trivial projects, having PhDs do left joins for client-facing salespeople instead of giving them the time to develop powerful, useful tools that use cutting edge models and technology
