Large investment bank, a great name on resume and great pathway for career advancement. In the top tier of financial institutions on the Street.

Cons

Long hours, sometimes no recognition of work done well. Politics get sometimes in the way of actual job performance. IT investment is critical to overcome Goldman's supremacy on the Street.

Pros

Good benefits, resume builder. People are really nice and will help you if you need it. Very lax environment where they let you do what needs to be done without breathing down your neck. Right now I am in the process of getting licensed so all I do right now is go into the office, read and take notes all day to prepare myself. Great vibe with people who actually enjoy what they do.
