Pros

High starting salary. They are hiring smart people. They organise plenty of social activities.

Cons

They won't raise the salary even for the promoted ones. People are not smart enough to revolutionise the processes to make their job easier. Even if you manage to save time, your effort are only realised and not recognised. Important informations are not communicated by the management, so everyone is basically running blind. Trust is missing from the culture.

Pros

Hard working employees. Some teams are very intelligent and good to work with (I got lucky here). Fast paced.

Cons

Terrible work life balance. NYC attitudes. Some will look at you as lazy if you don't work 12+ hours a day. Lack of internal mobility (only can make lateral moves). Only expect a promotion or more money every 2-4 years if you are lucky.

Great colleagues to work with.

Cons

Senior management is set in their ways, poor management style overall. Employees are left to fend for themselves and poor growth potential. Managers do not value employees at all and tend to take credit for employees work. Poor promotion potential and if you are not liked you will either be terminated or demoted. Leadership has been there in WM IT for over 15+ years and only a detriment to the environment. Employees are afraid to speak up and management is retaliatory.
