Pros

Good benefits Good marketing presence Good training in New Jersey Nice offices Excellent Receptionist Broad range of products Great Scottsdale Location

Cons

Horrible in office training Computer systems down often Little support for new trainees Minimal female representation in advisor staff For example: ratio approximately 20 males to one female in training group. Management not interested in trainees-Interested in large producers only Less than 5% make it - new advisors are just marketing source of leads for senior advisors. Highly imbalanced system of rating trainees, not applied to all the same. If you are a female, considering working here- highly not recommended by myself. See Suits a women on Wall Street, recent book written by former employee, please read, google to see what is is about

Pros

-Free do build a biz however you wish. -Access to a plethora of investments and platform, even very early on. -Very generous training schedule. -Can be a very lucrative career.

Cons

-Prospecting your way to success is a thing of the past. Literally, no one in a position of leadership within the company can offer any advice beyond cold calling (which no longer works). -Only interested in million dollar clients. Anyone else will get feed to death. -Merger has been ugly -Absolutely no quality control. Every advisor gives a different level of service and advice. -Want free checking? Online trading platform? God forbid... an app? Forget it. -Can't survive on your own. Payouts for new guys are small, and decreasing each year. Don't accept a job unless you're put on a team. -Half the admin staff in my office was laid off while I was there, the manager had to start a book from scratch and thus disappeared, and no one left had a clue how to do anything in the OLD system. They're really going to be screwed when the new one comes out. -Enjoy seeing your company vilified in the news at least once a month.
