      Solid company to settle into.

      Pros

      Very stable company now that the cell phone business has been spun off. This is a place people can and do settle in for 30+ year careers.

      Cons

      The 'tenured' personnel and 80 years of selling to government agencies make for a stable corporate environment, but innovation feels slow and technology feels antiquated compared to other technology companies.

      Old management techniques but lots to learn with decent incentives and payroll

      Pros

      Being one of the oldest companies in Radio communications, its the leader in the market. Lot of engineering going on and lots to learn for starters. No dress code, being the fun part. Flexible working hours depending on various departments. Definitely a company where one can retire.

      Cons

      Old management techniques and performance reviews.No competitive salaries and not uniform among departments for new hires with same engineer grades. Not much career growth for individuals unless you are exceptionally good(rather excellent) in your job.
