      Pros

      Consistently one of the top players in many of the industries we do business in. Investing in new acquisitions to enhance our competitive position in the dispatch marketplace. Long term employees are passionate about their work.

      Cons

      Management is cutting too many people with experience, thinking they can replace them with cheaper new hires. No sense of job security even when the company seems to be doing well. Too much reorganization.

      Pros

      Great local team, friendly and professional staff. Feels like you are contributing to a product that makes a difference in the world. Competitive benefits and great perks like snacks and soda.

      Cons

      Since Spillman was aquired by Motorola, the small company feel is gone. This brings both good things and bad things, but in my case, I am not a fan of the changes. With all of this comes impersonal upper-management that doesn't understand/know their employees, and rounds of layoffs to match their business strategy.

      Pros

      MSI is a company that has reinvented itself in the 8 years thatI have been here. Part of this transformation has allowed tremendous opportunities for growth and development that may not be realized elsewhere. We have a culture of support and inclusion with a working environment that fosters and encourages new ideas and independent thinking. MSI provides work/life balance with remote and flexible working opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

      Cons

      Not many cons to speak of but, like any company, nothing is perfect. However, if you are smart, have a solid work ethic and good attitude the opportunities are there for you at MSI.
