Dear former colleague, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback about your experience with us. We’re pleased to hear that you valued the collaboration with our team members. At the same time, we’re sorry to learn that your experience regarding pay and management did not meet your expectations. This is not the standard we strive for as an employer. Your feedback is very important to us, as it helps identify areas where we can improve. If you’re comfortable doing so, we’d appreciate hearing more details via email at HRcareers@munichre.com. We wish you all the best in your future professional endeavors. Kind regards, Munich Re

Pros

+ Full-time benefits are generous. + Some fun socials.

Cons

- 3 days in office when other companies were only 1-2 days. - Culture of overwork, everything expected to have been done yesterday. - Meeting heavy culture, eats into time needed to work. - Personal issues and mental health can be dismissed. Rampant burnout.

Dear colleague, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are glad to hear you value our benefits and enjoy the social events we organize as both are areas we continually invest in for our people. However, we are sorry to hear about the challenges you outlined. An intense workload and the perception that personal well-being and mental-health concerns are not fully acknowledged are experiences that do not reflect the supportive, sustainable culture we aim to provide. Please know that we are consistently trying to find areas where we can further improve and create a positive environment for all our employees. Your input helps with that. To help us address these issues more directly, we encourage you to speak confidentially with your HR Business Partner. Additional context will allow us to investigate and drive meaningful improvements for you and the wider team. Thank you for your openness and commitment to Munich Re. Kind regards, Munich Re

Pros

Nice colleagues. Pockets of helpful colleagues.

Cons

Unfortunately, culture of backstabbing exists and it starts at the upper levels of management. Careers do not exist. Wages are stagnant. IT infrastructure is old.
