Pros

NHS discounts various...being a contractor the only one I really take advantage of is Nandos.

Cons

Personally I havent enjoyed my stints with the NHS. The breakfast/food provided that you have to pay for SUCKS. Programme Support Officer can mean PA/Admin/valet just make sure you ask what you'll actually be doing. they tend to list everything and anything on the JD.

Pros

Excellent benefits, interesting workload, friendly staff, given a lot of autonomy, sick pay for 6 months if needed, secure employment for the foreseeable future.

Cons

I've seen my fair share of corruption when it comes to tagging people for promotion in advance of interview, this really gets people's backs up.
