Pros

The NHS was an amazing place to work, the coworkers are friendly , the patients are friendly and the managers are friendly.

Cons

The hours are quite difficult from time to time and like any other job involving health care. It leaves little time for a social life outside of work.

Think twice!

Pros

Your clinical skills will always be required everywhere in England so you'll never find it difficult to find a full time role which makes it easy to relocate in the future. So much opportunity to do overtime. Some degree of flexibility but only if you have a strong reasonable excuse.

Cons

Always short staffed and overworked. Pay freeze for 5 years, only now we will get a 1% increase, thanks! Too much bureaucracy and paperworks. Blame game with lack of support from upper management who lack insight and reality orientation. Public frustration vented towards staff.
