No outstanding pros It will make you cry. They live in a world of their own and really don't like outsiders from other companies unless its another NHS trust or public service body.

Cons

Lots. Poor IT No interdepartmental knowledge transfer No young people

Pros

One of the main reasons that people decide to work for the NHS is so that they can help people which is exactly what you do on a day to day basis. It has very good perks such as the pension and various discounts. You get to work alongside and meet a plethora of amazing people. It's one of the best things about this country!

Cons

Under appreciated and overworked. Constantly under media scrutiny. Can be difficult and stressful when dealing with patients.

huge experience wit variety of equipments related only to ITU environment, dealing with emergencies, working in a high stress level environment, mentoring students and novicies

Cons

constant shortage of staff which adds to increased stress level which by the nature of job is already very high .
