Pros

I enjoy my job - when I'm left alone to do it, holiday pay, teams make it work not management

Cons

Poor pay, no staff, pay freezes, low morale, bullying culture, no learning and development, covering 3 people's work as they wont replace staff who leave, nurses leaving in droves as they are stressed and overworked

Pros

Your clinical skills will always be required everywhere in England so you'll never find it difficult to find a full time role which makes it easy to relocate in the future. So much opportunity to do overtime. Some degree of flexibility but only if you have a strong reasonable excuse.

Cons

Always short staffed and overworked. Pay freeze for 5 years, only now we will get a 1% increase, thanks! Too much bureaucracy and paperworks. Blame game with lack of support from upper management who lack insight and reality orientation. Public frustration vented towards staff.
