Pros

Nokia offers the opportunities to interact with people from all over the world. Interacting with multiple cultures broadens each of our own horizons and allows us to learn how different people perceive similar situations. Although there are new remote communication tools available, there is nothing more beneficial than a face-to-face meeting.

Cons

Working with people from all over the world makes scheduling meetings somewhat challenging. Salary increases are less than satisfactory since not even a cost of living increase is provided, which means we are taking a net reduction in pay.

Pros

Nokia Siemens Networks is consistenly on the leading edge of technology and our employees are some of the brightest people in the industry. Working with new features and functionality is always challenging and often very rewarding. Working with intelligent and dedicated colleagues makes the journey that much better.

Cons

Our opportunities for advancement, while often international, are somewhat limited, and communication from Executive Management tends to be extremely criptic in nature. Because of these two factors, planning for career advancement becomes an exercise in who you know, not necessarily what you know.
