Pros

Competitive Base Salary & Remote Work

Cons

* Inexperienced Management * Senior Leadership does not communicate and information is thinned out before you receive it * Structure is constantly changing and so are company initiatives. * Broken promises are the only consistent thing with this business * SVP and others on town halls consistently cover up the truth and beat around the bush when it comes to what is on the horizon for OYO. They also make excuses for every piece of bad press that comes out. (Disgruntled employee, isolated incident, fake news, etc) * Constant micromanagement * Absolutely zero sales support in the field * OYO is so cheap that they don't invest in technology necessary to do your job. CRM is on a TRIAL! Email platform is gmail, they use Google Drive to hold important information, and they don't invest in simple platforms like Microsoft Office. They will use every opportunity they can to save a nickel. * OYO has no true business model. They will sign any hotel that signs a contract.

Pros

Base salary is ok. Nothing else.

Cons

Where do I begin..? I would give zero stars if I was able to. You will expected to book meetings on your first day. Treated like children having to report how many calls you’ve made and how many emails you’ve sent. Expected to be on call until late at night. Expected to attend pointless calls / meetings after hours. Constant micromanagement from people with no managerial skills. Training is pointless and unorganised. No support after your 4 days of training. Management will ignore questions as they don’t know the answers. Terrible offering to property owners. Service and product does not fit the UK market. Software that doesn’t work. Leads that are unqualified (spoke to several children). “Hot leads” that have no idea who you are. High pressure sales tactics. No structure to the business. No marketing budget as first advised. Constantly changing strategy & focus. Constantly changing targets. No support from management. Salary paid late. Expenses paid late. Senior management have no experience in UK market. Leads are duplicated daily. Contract is with agency so no rights with OYO. Several new starters let go after one month. More new starters let go after signing properties within two months. Terrible reputation within the industry. I could go on and on but please take one thing away from this. Do not apply for this job.
