A business in shambles...

Pros

The speed of getting inflated titles, you might lose them as quickly though... There used to be a bunch of smart, hard-working and honest people before the senior management decided that their roles could be managed from India eventually, way before Covid-19 started.

Cons

-Appalling confidence of the senior management in thinking that they can fly over people with 0 UK experience and manage just fine, zero local knowledge and appalling relic company culture gradually imported from India - “ Senior” UK Team barely knowledgable in London districts let alone the UK geography - Professional flatterers are better than vocal and competent individuals

Don't trust leadership

Pros

- Good Base Pay - Solid industry (pre-covid) - Remote work

Cons

- Leadership. They are terrible. All the issues that OYO has seen were described in detail by "lower" employees months before leadership would be forced to make changes. They have no sales leadership or sales experience. We just had one of the heads tell us about his 40% salary cut because of the times (keeping in mind that most all employees are furloughed and not coming back to the company and he was still probably clearing $100K yearly average still. They are tone deaf to issues. They do not understand their own product or the market in which they are selling into. They have made awful decisions on how and where to hire which ultimately lead them to get rid of the redundancy (though, they completely miss the higher level redundancy).
