Great Salary, independent work

Cons

Were too aggressive with their growth in the US and added too many reps they did not need for the size of the market. Only took a few weeks into employment to realize it was not sustainable to have so many reps in the same area. Would not allow us to strategize and work together to problem solve. Laid off the majority of new hires they had just brought on a couple months ago

Starting base salary is good.

Cons

Desperation is kicking in big time. They will do anything to sign new hotel owners to the brand. Culture of dishonesty is rampant.

Pros

Witnessing how a majorly overvalued investment bubble bursts in the hands of a few, a great lesson in lamentable people and expectation management. A bitter yet valuable education in all things "unicorns" and deplorable bureaucracy.

Cons

Absence of work/life balance aside, what is worse is that the willingness of those to sacrifice such is absolutely taken for granted. OYO needs rather loud and inept flatterers to please their superiors on an hourly basis and/or quiet nobodies making the power-hungry upper management feel like absolute gods for bestowing them with a job.
