Pros

Pros?? Seriously?? Absolutely NONE. Zero.

Cons

Where do I even begin?? The management above have NO idea what goes on for volunteers. You get NOTHING other than a certificate once a year,IF they remember. I made ONE mistake. ONE. After EIGHT years of giving my life to that pitiful excuse of a shop. Management and various departments humiliate me with meetings before binning me off with a email. DO NOT VOLUNTEER for them. Please. Especially NOT this shop. IF only I could say where it is…

Pros

Oxfam as a whole is a great non profit. Co-workers are very supportive.

Cons

Throwing yourself at people to get them to sign up, very sales based. No real way to move up in the company.

Pros

You can tailor your shop how you wish. Working hours.

Cons

No support from anyone above store managers. Unorganised and unprofessional responses (if you get one!)
