Pros

Healthy, friendly environment. Flexible working hours. Good management. It has been a pleasure working for Oxfam and having the chance to visit many locations both in the UK and abroad so as to fully understand the extent of its action and the benefits it brings to the needy.

Cons

Quite a low pay considering equivalent jobs in other companies. Benefits almost non existent. Oxford is a very expensive area to live in and no compensation is offered whatsoever. Alternatively if you chose to live further away, again no travel compensation is offered.

Hello, thank you for your comments about working at Oxfam. We're pleased you've found working here life changing. It's great that you feel volunteers are helped out, but we hope to do this as well as supporting our network of Shop Managers, we're sorry to hear this might not be how you felt. We will take your feedback back to the shop support team. Thank you for the 5+ years you've committed to working with Oxfam. Recruitment Team, Oxfam GB, Oxford
