Not great

Pros

Line Manager and team were great and supportive

Cons

Terrible pay, didn't increase in line with minimum wage. Tried to not pay holiday that was owed when I left, spoke with a Union rep and apparently Oxfam was doing this a lot during covid. Didn't feel confident I could be open about opinions that went against current popular culture and the culture in the organisation.

Pros

The best thing about Oxfam in Vietnam is it creates a safe, open and empowering working environment. People are free to raise their voice, actively handle their jobs and are accountable for their doings.

Cons

Not so much opportunities for promotion as most tasks are project-based and senior positions are very limited
