Steady construction work. They had a huge tool crib. Thousands of tools and sweet female crib attendants.

Cons

Some foremen were great. Others not so good.

Top heavy. Company does not treat employees very well if they are out on the project sites away from home.

Pros

Can make good money when working out of town.

Cons

When out of town on project sites, there is no work life balance. You are gone 10 to 14 days (sometimes longer) at a time. Have better odds getting struck by lightning than getting a pay raise.
